The course at Charnock Hospital on VIP Road will start from June 2018. Those who passed B.Sc nursing or similar course can join. No age restriction will be there. But knowledge of English is a must for communication.
The hospital will train the nurses in five areas, including English language skills and computer applications, to help them land jobs in the UK.
The training will give the certificate as per UK NHS standard and hence that will be at par globally in many countries.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between Healthcare Business Solutions (HBS) UK specialised in recruiting medical professionals in the UK, and city-based Charnock Nursing Solutions (India) at the British deputy high commission in Calcutta on Friday.
