The International Basketball Federation has approved 3BL basketball federation for the international level 3X3 League.
It is hosted at Kolkata at South City Mall on 7th and 8th July 2018. Mr. Rohit Bakshi, League Commissioner were present to host the event with teams and officials.
During the discussion, Mr. Bakshi said Kolkata is one of the premier locations apart from 5 other venues and this event is like IPL of 3×3 Basketball. Any city can approach the organizers for getting the franchise for their City pan India. This 10 min version of the game will involve the viewers and attract them to enjoy the game in quick sessions while they are enjoying their time at Mall. We are bringing the stadium to the people instead of calling them into the stadium. Mumbai will host the finals.
