Smt Harsimrat Kaur Badal appeals to Food Processing Companies to contribute generously to Kerala cause
Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Smt Harsimrat Kaur Badal has appealed to all Food Processing Industries across the country to contribute generously to the Kerala cause here today. The appeal by the Union Minister has come in the backdrop of severe floods that have ravaged the state of Kerala and left thousands homeless.
Smt Badal had also earlier requested companies to come forward in response to which ITC and Britannia have delivered 3 lakh packets of biscuits to State Government of Kerala yesterday. The packets were delivered to officials at Trivandrum, Kochi and Malapuram for further distribution to the affected people of the state.
