With the Kolkata Puja committees prepping for another Durga Puja celebration Singhi Park is gearing up for the celebration of Indian Culture and Tradition this Puja as they step into 77th year.
The secretary on behalf of the puja committee had made an announcement concerning the theme of the puja mandap this year. This year Singhi Park’s Puja theme revolves around an ancient Sun Temple located at Modhera village of Mehsana district, Gujarat.
We lose our connection with our traditions and culture amid all the hustle and bustle of everyday life and Singhi Park Sarbojanin Durgostsav Committee will give you a chance to get the essence of our culture the moment you visit the ancient shrine that is originally located on the bank of the river Pushpavati, here in Kolkata.
In order to remind people about this year’s Fifa World Cup a replica of France’s Eifel Tower at the entrance of the mandap, Light and sound show along with Jinn, Flying carpet and Fairy from Arabian Nights accompanying through the whole path leading to mandap will keep you entertained and amused.
Singhi Park will follow their traditional ‘Ekchala Shabeki Protima’ but with bit of a modification this year which has been moulded into structures by artist Pradip Rudra Pal. The theme song has been composed by famous Tabla player Suven Chattopadhay.
