Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, in association with Rabindranath Tagore Centre, ICCR, Kolkata

presents Bihan… A Musical Journey – a dance, recitation and solo acting event

based on a poem composed by the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi.

Kolkata, December 21, 2018: The Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi inaugurated Bihan… A Musical Journey. The programme was based on a poem written by him and interpreted through a well conceptualised dance movements threaded with a live recitation. The programme was presented by the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) in association with the Rabindranath Tagore Centre, ICCR here today.

The dances were choreographed by the well-known dancer Sharmila Biswas of Odissi Vision and Movement Centre, while Nivedita Bhattacharya recited the poem. It was a spectacular show.

Smt. Gouri Basu, Director, Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), and Shri Gautam De, Regional Director, Rabindranath Tagore Centre, ICCR, Kolkata, were also present  on the occasion.
