Simon Newton is the owner and founder of the Private Security Company, Askari Secure Ltd. He is also an Actor and a former Bodyguard.
Simon joined the British Military in 2000. After leaving the military he started his career in the Private Security industry working in the Middle East for an American oil company. Later he was appointed as a Close Protection Officer with the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office operating in Afghanistan.
After leaving the Middle East, Simon returned to London as a Bodyguard. In this period as a Bodyguard he has worked with Middle Eastern Royalty, Members of Parliament, and with News and TV crews. However, most previously known for working with celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Kendall Jenner, Rita Ora and Bella Hadid.
In 2009 Simon founded Askari Secure Ltd. The company to date is now a leading Private Security Company based in the heart of the UK’s Capital, London.
In addition to working in the UK, Simon was involved with Maritime Security as a Ship Security Officer. He ensured the safety of LPG and Crude Oil Tankers operating in the Indian Ocean from pirate activity.
Simon’s acting career started in 2010 and to date he has been involved with films such at the Green Zone, Thriller, Sherlock Holmes and Game of Shadows. He has doubled for Dave Bautista in the movie Final Score. Also he has played parts in various programs on UK TV.
Since 2016 Simon has been involved with men’s fashion. He has featured in articles and photo shoots for Vogue, JOSHUA’s Magazine and most recently, I-D Magazine.
