Every disposable diaper stays on the planet for more than 500 years. It is the need of the hour to look for an alternative option which is environment friendly. Eco-friendly diapers should be a part of our lifestyle as they are safe for babies and also do not harm our environment when compared to disposable alternatives.
As Indians, we are already aware about the benefits of the traditional ‘langot’ which is used even today. Cloth diapers bring the benefits of a langot and at the same time, have great absorption levels, making them super convenient and absorbent. In contrast to the disposable diapers, modern cloth diapers are great for the baby’s skin and are and economical on the pocket owing to their reusability quotient.
Mothers and fathers of Kolkata, by changing to a small cloth diaper took a giant leap today towards developing an ecologically sustainable India!
