Kolkata, 6th July, 2019:Godrej Interio, India’s leading furniture and interior solutions brand, today opened a new franchise outlet inJoka, 40kms from Kolkata. Spread across sprawling 7500 Sq ft, which has Dual Facade (DH Road & James Long Sarani). With the new store, the retail brand aims to strengthen presence in the West Bengal and eastern markets.
The store is Located in Joka, which is the biggest residential hub connecting the extended Kolkata areas like Diamond Park,Pailan,Amtala,Sarisha andMG road. There are a lot of big educational hubshere and their residential campuses.Segmented into Home and Kitchen products, the store offers specially crafted products in home furniture, home storage, bedroom sets, Living Room Sets, Dining Sets and mattresses with modular storage solutions.

The home furniture segment in India is estimated to be around Rs. 50000crore. From the national addressable market, the organized players have a market share of 15-18%. From a state perspective, West Bengal market is estimated to contribute about 22%
