Bongio Samaj Bengaluru, the largest socio cultural Bengalee Organisation of South India organized free AMATEUR FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT, in Bangalore, first of its kind in Namma Bengaluru from 27th July 2019 onwards.
More than 21 Amateur Groups across Bangalore registered for this tournament. Players from 18 Years to 65 Years are playing in this tournament. This tournament is happening mainly during the weekends as players are mostly IT Professionals and retired personals. Bongio Samaj Bengaluru organised this tournament to promote football within the young generations and encourage them to play on ground rather than getting addicted to computers and tech gadgets at early stage.
To support this great cause, many organisations like Baichung Bhutia Football School, RMZ Galleria Mall, Sparsh Hospital, Sonata Watches, Ray Chemicals came forward. Various Sports Arenas across Bangalore like Decathlon, Soccer Alley, Kreeda and OTB Sports supported by providing their venue free of cost.
Finals of this Tournament is scheduled on 18th August, 2019 in The Game Changer MSR, near MS Ramaiah College from 5pm onwards. Shri Sadananda Gowda, Union Minister of Petrochemical and Fertilizer will be the Chief Guest of the event accompanied by other distinguished guests.
