CAMARA, TIRTHANKAR SHINE IN PRACTICE MATCH AGAINST ATK U-18

KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club beat ATK U-18 6-2 in a practice match played at the Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Complex on Friday afternoon.

The win was powered by a brace from Senegalese striker Sarba Camara. The former Dhaka Abahani marksman was well supported by his fellow compatriot Serigne Fallou Diouf, Sujit Sadhu, Charles Atcha and Bikash Saini who contributed with a goal each. Interestingly, 5 out of 6 goals came from corner and midfield mainstay Tirthankar Sarkar setup four of those.

The Black Panthers will leave for Gangtok on Monday to participate in the 39th Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup.
