JFA mourns demise of scribe Bhaskar Dutta
Guwahati: Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) expresses grief at the untimely demise of scribe Bhaskar Dutta who breathed his last on 25
April 2020 at North Lakhimpur civil hospital. Hailed from Naoboicha,Bhaskar used to work for different media houses in the city.
Lately he shifted to Lakhimpur locality in eastern Assam and was suffering from liver-related ailments. His conditions remain critical
for some time. Bhaskar (42) left behind his parent, wife, two sons and a host of well-wishers. “It is sad that within the period of nationwide lockdown to break the chain of deadly novel corona virus outbreak, we have lost another young scribe (after sports journalist Pranjal Hazarika of Jorhat) with liver problems,” said a statement issued by JFA president Rupam Barua and secretary Nava Thakuria.
It also added that media persons should take care of their personal health so that they can perform their duties accordingly and
emphasized for regular health check-up programs in respective localities with supports from qualified healthcare personnel.
