Gulzar’s song recreated to mark the occasion of national technology day

11 May is the National Technology Day. We live in a techno age. Any kind of modern development is based on technology to make our life more comfortable, easy and up to date. Be it medicine, media, any constructive affairs, communication all need modern technology. A short musical based on a Gulzar’s poetry and song has been made by both the artistes Chandrima Bhattacharya, Samiul Islam Poluck on mobile even staying far away. It’s possible just for modern technology. Chandrima from India and Poluck from Bangladesh are great admirers of Gulzar, had a plan to work on the classic song “Meri Jaan Mujhe Jaan Na Kaho Meri Jaan” from the film Anubhav, music by Kanu Roy, originally sang by legendary Geeta Dutt.Chandrima has a soft spot for the gem. The two minutes musical opens with a Gulzar’s poetry “Sirf Ehsas Ke Paas Ho Tum” by Poluck followed by the soulful rendition by Chandrima.

The video doesn’t feature none of the artistes but moments of monsoon in black & white frames and that gives it a different dimension.A nicely made video by Poluck on mobile. Chandrima Bhattacharya says,” It’s nice to work with Poluck. Now we all are home confined due to Corona pendamic. But our creativity can not be stopped. We by using modern technology made it possible. We even plan to release it on the national technology day.” Samiul Islam Poluck says,” We all grew up with Gulzar. So tried our way to pay an homage to the living legged.”
