Today is the day of release of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina

Sheikh Hasina’s release day is one of the most memorable days in the history of independent Bangladesh.
Sheikh Hasina, the President of the Awami League and Prime Minister of Bangladesh, is the epitome of change in the destiny of the people of Bangladesh, whose far-sighted courage, skill has developed from a bottomless basket to a middle-income country.
Today is June 11, the day of release of Sheikh Hasina. She was released from the special jail set up on the premises of the parliament building on this day in 2006 after 11 months of imprisonment for being involved in a conspiracy.
Sheikh Hasina was arrested from her Dhanmondi residence in the early hours of July 16, 2008, on charges of lying, fabrication, and conspiracy of the then 1/11 undemocratic caretaker government. She was first arrested and taken to the Dhaka Metropolitan Court. From there she was taken to a special jail set up on the premises of the parliament building.
By arresting Sheikh Hasina, the then caretaker government, which was undemocratic and unconstitutional, tried to block the democratic rights of the people of Bengal.
Awami League president and incumbent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was jailed for 11 months in various ways. Then all the people of this Bengal, the leaders and workers of Awami League gradually formed resistance for the release of Sheikh Hasina.
During her imprisonment, Sheikh Hasina fell ill in jail. Then there was a demand from the entire community to release her for better treatment abroad. The caretaker government was forced to release Sheikh Hasina in the face of constant pressure, uncompromising attitude and unwavering demands from the Awami League and other allies.
For the tearful love of the people, Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina is taking the country forward ignoring the bloody eyes of the conspirators. Today, the people of the country are glorious in overcoming all obstacles. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s lost dream and golden Bangladesh is being realized under the leadership of his worthy daughter. And everything is possible due to the worthy courage and leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
The Awami League has decided to suspend various programs on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s release day due to the global epidemic coronavirus.
On Thursday, the Awami League on the occasion of the release day of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, wished Sheikh Hasina a long life and good health.
Awami League advisory council member Prof. A.F.M Ruhal Haque said, although there were various arrangements on the occasion of the release of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from jail, all the programs were canceled on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina due to coronavirus.
