A musical web series on musical legends is all set to start on world music day
Kauushik Events is all set to start a musical web series “A tribute to the legends” this 21 June onward featuring eight different episodes revolving around Indian musical legends besides a few onscreen stars.Eventually it is an instrumental series considering the importance of musicians in our industry.The entire series has been conceptualized, created & produced by Kauushik Events.
Each episodes would offer mashup of some ageless creations .The debut episode would offer compositions of Tagore, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Manna Dey,Nachiketa Chakraborty,Ayub Bachhu,Sonu Nigam,KK, Rahman,Sajid-Wajid to music from Rishi Kapoor,Irfan Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput acted films while rest of episodes are dedicated to Satyajit Ray, R.D.Burman, Salil Chowdhury,Gulzar, Yash Chopra, Illaiyaraja & A.R.Rahman, Khayyam.
The entire series has been musically recreated by Joy Bhadra JB while musicians like Shouvik Mukherjee(Sitar), Swarajit Ratul Guha(Flute),Suptanu Giri( Keyboard) have performed in all the episodes. Kaushik Ghosh the man behind the entire venture says, ” During this lockdown musicians have lost their earnings, even didn’t get opportunities to be a part of online lives that much. But we should not forget their contribution in industry. As a whole it’s an honor to legends besides our musicians too.”
