PPFA slams militants for appeasing Beijing
by our correspondent
Guwahati: Patriotic Peoples’ Front Assam (PPFA) slams the separatist militants of northeast India, who are trying their best to reorganize
against the will of common people, for their repeated appeasing statements in favour of the Communist Chinese regime in Beijing. The
forum of nationalists opines that a recent video-clipping by United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (Ulfa-I) comforting Beijing
judiciously proves that they are still under the patronage of Beijing.

When sympathy and supports gradually increased for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and his mission to safeguard  the Tibetan language and culture across India and abroad, the Ulfa-I issued the video statement (both in Assamese and English language) criticizing the Tibetan
spiritual leader, who had to escape with a large group of followers in 1959 as the Chinese authority unwarrantedly occupied the sacred Potala palace in Lhasa.

The statement, parroted by a young secessionist, argued that the Chinese people had no enmity towards the Assamese and that is why the
Chinese military personnel did not harm the locals during 1962 Indo-China conflicts in the frontier State of Arunachal Pradesh.

However, the narrator did not realize that the Indian forces at the border eventually represent the people of Arunachal Pradesh and sacrifice lives to safeguard the entire nation from foreign aggressors always.

“As the border conflicts with the imperialist Chinese government continue in different size and shapes, we suspect Beijing would use
Ulfa-I leader Paresh Barua for disruptive activities in the region,” said a PPFA release adding, “We believe Barua has no option than
obeying the diktat of Beijing as he continues to hide in its fully influenced territory with necessary patronages for decades now.”

Pointing out that China was never a neighbor to India (rather Tibet), the PPFA wholeheartedly supports the ongoing worldwide social media
campaign for an independent Tibet. Arguing that a sovereign Tibet would be very friendly and advantageous to India in various aspects,
the patriotic forum urges the Union government in New Delhi to support the mission so that Dalai Lama can return to Lhasa with all dignity
and prides during his lifetime.
