Century Plyboards’s Q3 Results for Financial Year 2020-21

India’s leading plywood company, Century Plyboards (India) Ltd., today announced its results for the third quarter of FY 2020-21.
Highlights:
- Net Revenue from operations for the Third Quarter, ending 31st January, 2020-21 fiscal, was Rs 654.36 crore; an increase of 10% over corresponding period of last financial year(595.42 crore)
- Profit After Tax for the quarter ending 31st January, 2020-21 was Rs. 65.88 crores; showing an increase of 245% over corresponding period of last financial year (Rs. 19.09 crores)
- All segments have performed significantly well during the quarter under review. Plywood and MDF did exceptionally well.
- Revived market conditions, affordable commodity prices and better sales volume have led to significant margin improvement.
Business Outlook:
Commenting on the company’s performance, Mr. Sajjan Bhajanka, Chairman, Century Plyboards(I) Ltd said “This has been the best quarter in our company’s history. All of our product divisions including plywood, MDF, Particle Boards have performed well. This quarter is the beginning of the economic recovery and we are optimistic that we will be able to build on this performance and improve it in the near future.”
