Tarikul Islam Lavlu, Bangladesh: Chief of the Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria arrived in Dhaka on Monday (February 22) at noon for a three-day visit. The Indian Mission in Dhaka said in a statement.
The Indian Mission Chief said in a statement that he would be accompanied by a two-member delegation accompanying the Indian Air Force Chief.During the visit, he will also visit major BAF air bases in Bangladesh. The Chief of Indian Air Force will also pay homage to the members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives in the liberation war of 1971 by laying a wreath at the Shikha Anirban Altar in Dhaka Cantonment.The Indian delegation will also visit the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi and pay homage to Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“It is a matter of pride for ACM RKS Bhadauria, Chief of the Indian Armed Forces and Air Force, that he is an alumnus of the 18th Air Staff Course at the Military Command and Staff College (DSCSC) in Mirpur, Dhaka,” the message said.During the visit, the Chief of Indian Air Force will be inducted into the DSCSC’s ‘Mirpur Hall of Fame’. The visit of the Indian Air Force Chief will further strengthen the existing close and fraternal ties between the two countries’ armed forces.
This visit of the Chief of Indian Air Force to Dhaka is at the invitation of Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat BBP, OSP, NDU, PSC.
