West Bengal CM canceled Secondary (Madhyamik) and Higher Secondary (Uchha Madhyamik) Examination 2021 on public advice
The state government sought the opinion of the general public on the e-mail test about the fate for the Secondary (Madhyamik) and Higher Secondary (Uchha Madhyamik) Examination 2021.
The decision was taken on the basis of that opinion, the Chief Minister announced. The state government has received 34,000 e-mails. Hence her administration in view of the majority advice along with the other board’s similar decision canceled both the exam.
But how the evaluation of marks will be done based on performing the student during Class IX and X for Madhyamik and XI and XII or not will be informed within 7 days.
Secondary-Higher Secondary examinations should be conducted in conjunction with CBSE and ICSE and ISC. She also advised not to delay the result as national and international admission exams will be in due course and we should penalize none for delay from the board.
She explicitly expressed solidarity with the students and their pain.
Hope the decision will remove uncertainty and tension from parent’s and student’s mind.
