Hindustan Power sets up a 50-bed Facility, donates essential medical equipment in Anuppur

* 50-bed facility set up in Village Jaithari, district Anuppur for General Public. Hospital has facilities for oxygen support, ambulances, modern equipment and medicines.

Mumbai, June 17th, 2021: In a bid to support the local communities in their fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, Hindustan Power, a leading player in the power sector, has set up a 50-bed facility in Jaithari, Anuppur for the general public.

The facility is fully equipped with Ambulances, Oxygen Concentrators, Oxygen Cylinders, Medication, PPE Kits, Pulse Oximeters and other essential medical requirements. The Company has also donated two Ambulances, Five Oxygen concentrators and 25 Oxygen cylinders to Anuppur Medical Hospital.

The Company has also set up a 25-bed fully oxygenated facility for employees, contractors and their families in the district. In-house doctors and nurses will provide treatment to all those affected.

Mr Lalit Jain, President – Thermal, Hindustan Power said: “We believe in creating strong partnerships with the local communities. Fighting the pandemic have to be a collective effort to succeed. These initiatives are for well -being of our employees, local partners and the general public. We will continue to work for the benefit of the people in these trying times. We urge the people to take all precautions and stay safe.”

Last year, Hindustan Power had also donated the ventilators to the district Hospital in Anuppur for the treatment of Covid 19 patients. Hindustan Power is committed to standing alongside the administration and health authorities to ramp up medical facilities and infrastructure.
