The President signed the Federal Law On Amending Article 6 of the Federal Law on Countering the Legalisation (money laundering) of Illegal Income and the Funding of Terrorism and Article 31 of the Federal Law On Enforcement Action against People Involved in Violating the Fundamental Human Right and Freedoms, and the Rights and Freedoms of the Citizens of the Russian Federation.June 28, 202118:25
The Federal Law is aimed at toughening control over the funding of Russian non-profit organisations, as well as at establishing an additional condition for recognising the objectionable activities of a foreign or international NGO on the territory of the Russian Federation.
