On June 25, 2021, operatives of Pakistani intelligence agencies opened fire and martyred Ayub Baloch alias Nako Sharif, a key member of the organization, in Pishin area of western Occupied Balochistan.
Nako Sharif had been associated with the Baloch National Movement for the past 13 years. He started his armed struggle in 2008. Later, in 2018, he joined Baloch Liberation Army. From that day till the last moment of his life, he remained sincere and honest with the manifesto, ideology and principles of the organization.
Over a period of thirteen years, Pakistan’s intelligence agencies not only offered concessions to humiliate Shaheed Nako Sharif, but also his home several times and tortured his family to force him to surrender. But Nako Sharif was a man of very strong nerves, who remained affiliated with national cause with enthusiasm and courage to the end.
Even before joining the BLA, Nako Sharif naturally possessed expertise in handling freedom fighters and organizational stability in the national movement and armed struggle. Due to his previous role, experience and qualifications, He was included in the ranks of responsible colleagues of BLA from the very beginning.
Shaheed Nako Sharif belongs to Malant area of Kech district of occupied Balochistan.
He rendered unforgettable services for national liberation in various parts of Occupied Balochistan including Kech and for a long time he was playing an important role in Western Occupied Balochistan under an organizational decision.
The BLA values the perseverance and valuable sacrifices of Shaheed Nako Sharif.
