In a press release BLA spokesperson informed about the release of their three hostages.
We released 3 workers of telecom company arrested from Margat, Chokhobi Wadh
On June 26, 2021, three workers of the telecom company (Muhammad Yusuf, resident of Quetta, Amanat Ali, resident of Gujrat, Punjab, Rehmatullah, resident of Qila Saifullah) were arrested by our fighters from Margat Chokhobi Wadh area of Quetta, were released on humanitarian grounds.
These workers were detained by our fighters while installing a mobile tower on an uninhabited mountain range. The organization decided to release them on the condition of bail from an international organization, including the United Nations or the Red Cross. But the mentioned institutions did not contact. That is why, in keeping with international law, they were subjected to a judicial process by BLA, which concluded that the men were inadvertently part of the project. But as it is clear that despite repeated warnings, these people were involved in an exploitative project on the occupied Baloch land, the organization still preferred to release them on humanitarian grounds.
Telecom networking in the uninhabited areas of Balochistan occupied by China and Pakistan is directly related to the ongoing aggression of the enemy army in these areas. Therefore, we strongly warn all the telecom companies operating in Occupied Balochistan and the technicians, coordinators, labourers and especially the engineers who work for them for a few privileges. That they should not play the role of facilitator in the anti-Baloch policies of Pakistan and China.
