Mohammedan Sporting Club – Youth Development Programme
Mohammedan Sporting Club Youth Development Programme has been re-named as ” Mohammedan Sporting Club Football Academy* from Black Panthers Football School.
The idea behind renaming the Youth Development Program is to establish the parental relationship with the mother’s organization. A mother with a very rich legacy, a mother which has contributed immensely to Indan Football, a mother which played a stellar role in adding to the passion of native youths in India’s freedom struggle. The Club played a lead role in up-staging the British Empire team’s dominance in football by being the 1st Native team to win the Calcutta Football League in 1934 & winning it five times in a row till 1938. It was also the 1st Native team to win the world’s 3rd oldest Football Tournament the Durand Cup, in 1940.
The aim of renaming is to ” Remodel the YDP program, keeping in sync with the developments taking place in the footballing world.
When our team spoke with Md. Khaled about the program he said, Keeping these in mind we have set our Vision & mission as below:
Vision
To expose children to the latest training methods
