Genius Consultants partners with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) to provide skilling to employable youth

~Extending support to Skill India Mission, the partnership aims to create a pool of skilled workforce and encourage entrepreneurship for sustainable livelihood~

Kolkata, 17 December 2021: With a vision to enhance employability and to upskill employable youth, Genius Foundation, the CSR arm of the leading human resources organization, Genius Consultants Ltd has collaborated with the Electronic Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI). Under this collaboration training and coaching for the development of skills amongst various employable workers will be imparted. To initiate this endeavour an MoU has been signed by Genius Consultants Ltd and ESSCI at the inauguration of the Training & Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme in the honorary presence of RP Yadav, Chairman & Managing Director, Genius Consultants Ltd., Mr. Piyush Chakraborty, Vice President, ESSCI, Mr. Bikram Das, State Engagement Officer, NSDC, and Mr. Abhijit Chatterjee, Chairman, Asecensive Educare Ltd. 

During the programme, the MoU signing was followed by encouraging speeches by Mr. Shakshi Gopal Saha, GM, PNB Bank, Mr.RP Yadav, CMD, Genius Consultants Ltd and other eminent speakers. The event witnessed engaging panel discussions, shedding light on topics like empowering micro-entrepreneurship and leveraging CSR activities for enhancing livelihoods, skills, and promotion and more.

As part of this collaboration, Genius Consultants Ltd. will be setting up training centres across West Bengal to train people for sustainable livelihood generation and to encourage them to become an entrepreneur. They will be lending their assistance in recruiting these workers as per requirement. Training will be imparted in various technical fields such as mechanics, computers, electrical, automotive and many more. To make this initiative successful Genius Consultants will be deploying Rs. 20 lakhs to help upskill various workers registered under NSDC. They will also be setting up a designated team that will be identifying and helping many such workers who may benefit from these training programmes. 

Commenting on this initiative, RP Yadav, CMD, Genius Consultants Ltd., said, “We are extremely elated to announce our partnership with ESSCI working toward sustainable employment generation and inclusive growth. We will be facilitating various training programmes that are in demand and help people to be industry ready or start their own business.”

He further added, “We truly believe that, with proper training, guidance, and skill development, we can make a huge impact and improve the livelihoods of numerous people. By providing skills, we not only empower workers but are also strengthening the structure and foundation of our economy by increasing productive and employable work force to make India self-reliant.”
