BSF CAVALRY SQUAD APPREHENDED A BANGLADESHI INFILTRATOR ON THE INDO-BANGLADESH BORDER, HANDED OVER TO BGB AS A GOODWILL GESTURE

On January 11, 2022, at around 0910 hrs, the cavalry squad of the Border Out Post Charbhadra Forward, 141 Battalion, while patrolling in their Char area, noticed some suspicious activity, the cavalry squad acted and apprehended an intruder. The identity of the apprehended intruder was identified as Sajhan Byapari (age 55 years), S/o- Late. Ali Byapari, Village- Khajirtha, Post- Chilmari Police Station-Daulatpur, District-Kustian (Bangladesh).
The apprehended Bangladeshi intruder has been handed over to the BGB as a goodwill gesture after conducting a flag meeting.
The Public Relations Officer stated that our jawans keep a close eye on people crossing the International Boundary in any way along with illegal infiltration. BSF has handed over the apprehended Bangladeshi nationals safely to Bangladesh after investigation as goodwill gesture.
