BSF APPREHENDED 07 BANGLADESHI NATIONALS CROSSING INDO-BANGLADESH BORDER

Border Security Force troops apprehended 07 Bangladeshi nationals for crossing the border illegally in the border area of ​​South Bengal Frontier. All Bangladeshi nationals were trying to go from India to Bangladesh.

The apprehended Bangladeshi nationals are Hasina Bibi (45), District-Jesore, Santo Dutta (27), District-Jesore, Pali Dutta (46), Salima Ghazi (44), District-Jesore, Taslima Ghazi (25), Mushraf Hussain, ( 43), District-Feni Bangladesh.

Apart from this, another Bangladeshi national apprehended was identified as Akibul Mandal (Asif), age 20, S/o- Anrul Mandal, a resident of Bangladesh and residing at his maternal grandmother’s house in Beldanga village of North 24 Parganas district.

A Bangladeshi youth apprehended for trying to cross the India-Bangladesh border to meet his parents

In the interrogation of the apprehended Bangladeshi nationals, it has come to the fore that most of the citizens were making their living by working from places of India. But due to non-availability of work due to Corona epidemic, they were going back to their country. The apprehended youth Akibul Mandal revealed during interrogation that his mother is from India and father is from Bangladesh. He further revealed that he lives in India with his maternal grandmother and today he was going to Bangladesh to meet his parents who live in Bangladesh .

The apprehended Bangladeshi nationals have been handed over to the concerned Police Station for further legal action.

The Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier of the stated that the Border Security Force is taking strict steps to stop illegal movement on the India-Bangladesh border. Due to which the people involved in such crimes are facing a lot of difficulties and some of them are getting caught, who are also being punished according to the law.
