PM Modi honors Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th birthday by installing his statue at India Gate. The statue will be made of granite. This is to remark on his contribution to the Indian Independence movement. Until they install the actual statue, the PM has said that they would inaugurate a virtual hologram at the same place, on Netaji’s birthday, 23rd January.
“At a time when the entire nation is marking the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I am glad to share that his grand statue, made of granite, will be installed at India Gate,” was said by Mr.Modi in a tweet on Friday.
