BORDER SECURITY FORCE ORGANIZES FREE MEDICAL CAMP UNDER CIVIC ACTION PROGRAM

On 1st February 2022, under South Bengal Frontier, troops of Border Out Post Rajanagar, 117 Battalion organized a free medical camp for the needy people living in the border area of Sector Headquarters Baharampur.
During this program a large number of villagers from the villages around the border post Rajanagar came to the camp in which men and women along with children also participated. Free check-up and medicines were distributed in the camp. Apart from this, goods for indoor and outdoor games were distributed to increase the interest of the youth towards sports. Wheel chairs were also distributed for the handicapped in the camp. Heads and members of nearby villages were also present in this camp, who made people aware about the camp. The people of the area highly appreciated the camp and urged to the BSF to organize such more programs in future.
The Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier appreciated the 117 Battalion troops for organizing the program. He stated that such programs create a good image about the force and develop a sense of security among the people. He also stated that such programs will be organized in the border areas in future also.
