How controversial are “The Kashmir Files” – Truth, Myth or Murder of History

By Sunanda Mitra

What is a controversial topic? And why? Whenever there is a rift between truth and falsehood over a subject or a fictional story is told to suppress a true event or to expose the true facts so that no person, community, or nation may be exposed to the stigmatized aspects of the nation.  Attempts by powerful people to conceal this fact are controversial. That’s means, there is no fault to do such a nuisance, but if you say, then there is a fault. Wow, if you spoke of one religion, you are secular, and if you speak about it for the other group, you are communal.

And there is no end to these controversial issues in India, such as partition, the assassination of Gandhi, the assassination of Godse (many say so, but he was given death sentence in Free India officially), Haven on Earth Kashmir, and POK gift of some great minds, Forced migration, and killing of Kashmiri Hindus, hunger strike game, (not in all cases but in most of the cases), second nuclear test and action by the opposition, Marichjhanpi massacre killing or The killings of Margi’s, and now with the movie “The Kashmir File”, why? Due to the dare and dashing director Vivek Agnihotri, he is going to open the truth, to the true story of violence and torture on Kashmiri Hindus. Here is the fear that if everyone knows the cruelty of the oppressed people who have been oppressed for so long, their power will not be restored, and their justified demands will be established.

Seventy-five years after independence, if the polls continue to open like this, there will be no escape.

The disappearance of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, not allowing him to return to the country and rioting in the name of religion, although I think Hindu-Muslim riots are in fact an easy way for radicals to spread imperialism and transfer political power behind religion. Although this is not the case today, it started about fifteen hundred years ago, this dirty game of imperialism using religion as a tool.

In this case, Vivek Agnihotri must be commended for his courageous step, because his fight is not only against any politically powerful person or sect but also to ignore the bloody eyes of Rathi Maharathi of GANGS OF WASIPUR OF POLITICAL ARENA” and some other powerful person in Bollywood, which is really commendable.

You have set the bell on the Cat. Now be ready to face the music. Don’t worry, these are backdated music people developed some knack for “UP market” music too. Every part of the story told is based on ground reality and as if we are living the moments through the screen. We are ashamed why we have not shouted earlier like this before. This move is certainly not for spreading violence but information about the ignorance that led to 3 generations suffering in outside the state.

His “The Kashmir File” seems to convey this message with intense contempt. The era of “Dadagiri” of Blacklisted political families are over.  This time, the trial will be the end of all debates. But I will write about your movie in depth another day, not today.

Hat’s off to you sir

Agnihotri is a rare Indian Brahmin surname derived from the Sanskrit word Agnihotri. The term Agnihotri originally referred to the Brahmins who maintained the sacred fire during the fire rituals. How many of us can justify our surname with noble action in such a way the way showed by Vivek Agnihotri. Vivek Ji, you kept the Homa Agni of Hindus’ lives through this movie. This is the best birthday gift I have ever had from Bollywood on 11th March, said, Suman Munshi Chief Editor of IBG NEWS
