ABID Inaugurates ABID INTERIORS 2022, A Futuristic & Innovative Exhibition at Science City, Ground
Kolkata, 11th May 2022: ABID (Association of Architects, Builders, Interior Designer and Allied Trade) presented its yearly mega event ‘INTERIORS 2022’ at Science City, Ground in the presence of MLA Madan Mitra, Managing Director of Century Ply Sanjay Agarwal, Founder Chairman & Managing Director of Dorset Group Mr.Rajesh Bansal, Architect Prem Nath, Consul General of Kolkata-Thailand Acharapan Yavaprapas, Famous Tollywood Actress who predominantly appears in Bengali films and serials Koneenica Banerjee, Television & Film actress Rimjhim Mitra and other office bearers and members of ABID. The exhibition will be held from 12th May till 16th of May, 2022. The exhibition is open to the public from 10am to 7 pm.
ABID has played an active role over the last 30 years in promoting and educating Eastern India with new developments in the industry, in both interior designs and exterior manufacturing. ABID not only focuses on the commercial aspect of the industry, but also tries to bring about a holistic change by conducting seminars, workshops and programs that help in opening up conversations on these topics.
This year there are over 150 plus exhibitors spread over the 4 hangers of and cover an area of over 2 lacs sq ft. In addition to the excellent stalls put up by several eminent brands there are mock rooms put up by interior designers and decorators to give an idea of how the end products can be used. The visitors in this mega event will get the opportunity to explore stalls of principal sponsor Dorset. There are 9 co-sponsors like Asian Paints, Atlantis Marble, Bosch,Century ply, Green ply, Hitachi AC,Nolte Kitchen,Oyster & Provo. Further more some of the recognized brands have introduced new range of Home decoration products which will be showcased here. The fair exhibits the new dimensions and innovations in Interior Decor which catch the fancy of the end users and help them reach their inspirations.
Ajit Jain, President, ABID said “The fair will exhibit new dimensions and innovations in Interior Decor related to homes, retail, commercial and office spaces etc. My vision is to develop a strong organisational framework for various skill development programs and put in place a strong networking system for the overall growth of the industry”.
