Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration by Min. of Statistics and Programme Implementation

Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation is organizing an iconic week celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav from 27 June to 3 July, 2022. The event in Kolkata is being organized at the Science City Mini Auditorium by the State Capital Regional Office, Kolkata of the Field Operations Division.
Professor Bimal Kumar Roy, Chairperson, the National Statistical Commission, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation inaugurated the programme.
As part of the iconic week celebration. nationwide quiz contest on official statistics and other facets of the Indian official statistical system –Anwesha 2022- was organized for students. About 100 students from more than 50 colleges/universities in and around Kolkata took part in the programme and were awarded certificates of participation and other exciting prizes.
Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India presented the cultural programme and also put up a pictorial exhibition on ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” on the occasion.
