Madhabilata The woman who fights for the rights of her people
Star Jalsha is all set to present a never seen before series, ‘Madhabilataa’- a battle of a woman who fights for all. A one-of-a-kind drama which will tell the story of a girl’s love for nature and how far she goes to save nature. Her love for her mother nature and her forest is unmatched and her fearlessness to fight against the illegal poachers who cut down the trees, is indomitable.
Madhabilata, a girl from Janglahata forest who finds a deep connection with nature and vows to follow in her mother’s footsteps to save the forest. Her battle against timber smugglers gets noticed by people. She uses arts and her dancing skills to raise awareness against the evil practices of timber smuggling. On the other hand, Sobuj, a wildlife photographer enters Madhabilata’s life. He admires Madhabilata’s work and is awed by her. As the story progresses, new challenges come up in Madhabilata’s life. Bengal’s sweetheart, Shrabani Bhunia will don the role of Madhabilata & audience favorite, Sushmit Mukherjee, will play the role of Sobuj.
