Executive Director of PCBL interacted with THA students
The concluding session of Convergence 2022- the induction and orientation program of the new batch of BBA, BCA, and Media Science students at The Heritage Academy (THA) witnessed an interactive session which was addressed by Mr. Gautam Kalia, Executive Director and Management Committee Member of PCBL (RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group) on 7th September 2022.
During the session, Mr. Kalia stated about the five obsessed job profiles where today’s management graduates can aspire to build their careers. The same are Data Science, Consulting, Investment Banking, Healthcare, and Digitization. “Common functions like Finance and accounts, advertising, digital marketing, and IT & Automation are very much pervasive in these areas. Therefore there are huge opportunities for BBA, BCA, and Media Science students to build their careers in these sectors,” said Mr. Kalia during the session.
Moreover, he also stressed on the basic values which the students should focus on. “The whole world is waiting for you with open arms. Be the Best in whatever you do,” said Mr. Kalia.
Mr. Gautam Kalia was welcomed to the session by Prof. Gour Banerjee, Principal, The Heritage Academy, Kolkata. “Such sessions are part of the curriculum in our regular studies. Interactive sessions with the Industry Stalwarts help the students a lot when they move into the corporate world,” said Prof. Gour Banerjee. The session was also addressed by Prof. Madhupa Bakshi, Dean, Department of Media Science, The Heritage Academy, Kolkata.
