Indian Navy Personnel Participate in Puneet Sagar Abhiyan at Kolkata
As part of #PuneetSagar Abhiyan and on the occasion of International Coastal Cleanup Day #IndianNavy personnel of INS Netaji Subhas undertook Hooghly River Front #CleanUp Drive, Kolkata on 17 Sep 22.
The Environmental Initiative was conducted by @IndianNavy with the participation of #NCC cadets at Kolkata. The event-generated considerable enthusiasm amongst the local populace for a good cause.
About 58 kg of plastic waste was collected and handed over to #KMC, for further processing following environmentally friendly norms.
