Pride of Indian Army, Eastern Command showcased the might and skills at the Mill Tatto Show at Royal Calcutta Turf Club. Earlier the day began with a discussion and felicitation of War veterans of 1971, both from Indian defense and Bangladesh MUKTI Joddhas. Bangladesh’s side praised the active effort of the Indian Army and the government for the liberation of Bangladesh. Photographs and stories from the war veterans put the adrenalin for patriotism at its best.
The charged-up speech by the GOC Eastern Command showcased and set the tone for young officers on how to motivate the boys in action. Latter Shri R.P. Kalita felicitates the stars of the 1971 War.
The second half of the day was an active showcase of the Indian Army in the Sky and on the ground. Only Hollywood war movies could be a distant example of such warfare skills in reality to understand. Not only were the brave hearts in action, but the Horses and Dogs were also at their best to lift the standard of the entire show.
