We will spare no efforts to make life easier for the people of Ladakh: PM

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has reiterated the commitment to make life easier for the people of Ladakh. He was responding to a tweet by Member of Parliament in Loksabha from Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal wherein the MP conveyed people of Ladakh’s happiness over the approval of Rs.1681.51 Cr for construction of 4.1km length Shinkun La to provide all weather connectivity to Ladakh.
The Prime Minister tweeted;
IBG NEWS would like to appreciate the Government of India, especially PM Modi Ji, that even a humble request to PMO from an ordinary citizen received the due perusal, at the highest level. Our request in social media and posts that PM Modi took many actions to make Ladakh UT a more effectively administered area with direct central supervision. A direct translation of the famous phrase “Democracy is a government of the people, by the people and for the people’ was said, by Abraham Lincoln. He was the 16th President of the United States.
“We can only say thanks for listening to our humble request, Sir.”
