Vladimir Putin visited Mariupol – The President examined several facilities in the city and talked with the locals.

Vladimir Putin arrived in Mariupol by helicopter. He drove a car around several districts of the city, toured the coastline near a yacht-club, and visited the theatre and historic sites.
Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin reported to the President on the progress made in construction and repair work in the city and its suburbs. In particular, he spoke of the construction of new residential neighbourhoods, social and educational facilities, housing and utilities infrastructure, and medical institutions.
The President talked with local residents in the Nevsky micro-district, and visited the home of one of the families, at their invitation.
Additionally, Vladimir Putin had a meeting at the command post of the special military operation in Rostov-on-Don. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces heard reports by Chief of the General Staff of Russia’s Armed Forces – First Deputy Minister of Defence Valery Gerasimov and a number of commanders.
