Directed by Dhrubo Banerjee, KARNASUBARNER GUPTODHON is the third offering of the Guptodhon Franchise. The film was released during Durga Puja last year and stars Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakrabarty & Ishaa Saha. Produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, this film also features Barun Chanda, Rajatava Dutta, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee & Saurav Das in other vital roles. Shot across Murshidabad, Purulia & Kolkata, KARNASUBARNER GUPTODHON is the first Bengali film to portray the illustrative history of Karnasubarna, which was the capital of Gauda Kingdom during the reign of Shashanka, the first important king of ancient Bengal who ruled in the 7th century.
The trio: Sona Da, Abir & Jhinuk is invited for a wonderful occasion, where their vacation soon turns into a dangerous hunt for the greatest treasure of Bengal – the hidden treasure of King Shashanka. As Sona Da tries to unlock every clue, his wit and mind constantly get challenged, and his loved ones face threats. His entire adventure gets under a web of threats until he unearths the secret of one of the greatest treasures that Bengal has ever known.
