Adamas University Students shine bright at National Shooting Championship

Kolkata, April 14, 2023:

In a thrilling finale to the All India Inter University Shooting Championship, Mehuli Ghosh, a student of Adamas University, emerged as the champion in the individual category of 10-meter Air Pistol and Rifle, securing the gold medal. The competition, which was held for nine days from 1st April to 9th April, brought together some of the most talented shooters from universities across the country.

Organized by Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut Uttar Pradesh under the aegis of the Association of Indian University, New Delhi, the event was a showcase of skill and precision. Mehuli Ghosh’s impressive performance, in particular, stood out, as she beat out fierce competition from other universities to secure the gold medal.

But Mehuli Ghosh’s talents were not limited to the individual category alone. She also secured gold for the women’s team, along with Arnisha Chowdhury and Swarnali Roy, and grabbed the silver medal for the mixed team with Srinjoy Dutta.

The students of Adamas University who took part in this competition were credited to their institution, showcasing remarkable skills and setting a new standard for excellence in shooting.
