GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS MAHANAYAK UTTAM KUMAR STATION AND TOLLYGUNGE CRASHED

Kolkata, 21st April, 2023

Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway inspected Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station and Tollygunge Carshed today i.e. on 21.04.2023. He reached Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station from Park Street in a Metro. During this journey, he conducted a footplate inspection of this stretch from Conducting Motorman’s cab.
Shri Reddy inspected the platform area, concourse area, AFC-PC Gates, and other passenger amenities at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station. From there he went to Tollygunge Carshed for inspection. During the inspection, General Manager instructed concerned officials to renovate this shed for better maintenance of Metro rakes and to improve passenger services in Blue Line.

Shri H.N.Jaiswal, Principal Chief Engineer and Additional General Manager as well as other senior officials of Metro Railway were present during this inspection.
