LOST MOBILE RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER

On 28.04.2023 at about 08:45 hrs., an on-duty RPF staff at Kalighat Metro station found a mobile phone near the booking counter. Finding no claimant of this phone and after proper security checking, he deposited it at the Station Master’s office.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the phone to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometimes i.e. 11:10 hrs., a lady commuter came to the Station Master’s Office and claimed the ownership of the phone. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the phone was handed over to him.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping her to recover the lost phone.
