METRO RAILWAY CELEBRATED RABINDRA JAYANTI

Metro Railway has celebrated Rabindra Jayanti in a befitting manner at Rabindra Sadan Metro station named after the great poet today i.e. on 09.05.2023. Station staff paid their respect to Kaviguru by garlanding the mural of the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. This mural of Rabindranath was florally decorated and Metro commuters also paid their tribute.
It is to be noted that Rabindra Jayanti is observed throughout the country on the auspicious 25th day of the Bengali month of Baishakh. This year marks the 162nd birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.
Every year Metromen observes Rabindra Jayanti with reverence and pays tribute to this great poet.
