On 21 May 2023, Howrah bound Puri Howrah Vande Bharat Express had an accident near Jajpur Rail station. People complained about a big noise around 5:45 pm as suspected by the passengers. People doubt possible cause lighting may have caused the damage.
Details are yet to be released by the official communication.
