TRAIN SERVICES IN SEALDAH – BANGAON SECTION WERE AFFECTED DUE TO THUNDER & POWER DISTURBANCE
Kolkata, June 19, 2023:
Train services in Dum Dum Jn – Bangaon section were affected from 7:48 hrs to 8:30 hrs this morning due to a power disturbance in signalling cabin following heavy thunder & lightning. As a sequel to this 15 local trains were delayed en route by an average of 30 minutes each on an average. Normal train movements in the section resumed at 8:30 hrs.
Kausik Mitra CPRO said this is due to natural calamity, however, normal train services will be restored soon
