Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, IGNCA congratulated everyone present for participating in such a noble and grand event. He further said that yoga is a matter of continuous practice and the core of yoga lies in giving instead of taking in life therefore we should learn to give back, which in turn will give us happiness. Dr. Joshi reiterated that we should be able to give back to nature and also take care of it. He also added while speaking on the occasion that life will be happy only when there is yoga and the awakening of ‘self’ is yoga. If you have awakened your ‘self’, then the welfare of the world is bound to happen, added Dr. Joshi. The yoga session was convened by Dr. Richa Kamboj, HoD, Kaladarshana division, IGNCA. Later in the evening, a four-day painting exhibition based on Yoga was inaugurated at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts premises.  The exhibition will be open to the public from 22nd June to 25th June 2023 from 11 AM to 6:30 PM.
