BEST-EVER PERFORMANCE OF EASTERN RAILWAY IN RESPECT OF SCRAP SALES

Eastern Railway is exploring various possibilities to increase its earnings from various fields and under the able guidance of General Manager, Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi has achieved a remarkable height in scrap sale earnings.

For the first time, Eastern Railway has become the best-performing Zonal Railway for Scrap Sales for the first quarter of the current financial year. During the period from April to June 2023, Eastern Railway has achieved scrap sale earnings of Rs. 101.66 Crores which is 59% higher as compared to the proportionate target and is the highest ever in this term.

Eastern Railway is also among the top three Zonal Railways which have crossed Rs. 100 Crores scrap sales in the first quarter of the current financial year.
