REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR NON-INTERLOCKING WORK OVER EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY
Kolkata, July 20, 2023:
Indian Railways, being one of the largest Railway Networks in the world, plays a critical role in transporting millions of passengers across the country. To improve efficiency, safety, and passenger comfort, the Indian Railways has embarked on a comprehensive programme of rapidly doubling railway tracks. The initiative aims to enhance capacity, reduce congestion and ensure smoother operations across the network, ultimately benefiting passengers. For doubling between Kishanpur & Rambhaddarpur stations in Samstipur division over East Central Railway, Pre Non-Interlocking (08 days from 15.07.2023 to 22.07.2023) and Non- Interlocking work (03 days from 23.07.2023 to 25.07.2023) will be undertaken. Consequently, the following trains will be regulated as under:
DIVERSION OF TRAINS:
(1) 07051 Hyderabad-Raxaul Special (journey commencing on 22.07.2023) and 13155 Kolkata-Sitamarhi Mithilanchal Express (journey commencing on 23.07.2023) will be diverted via Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi instead of Samastipur-Darbhanga-Sitamarhi.
(2) 07052 Raxaul-Secunderabad Special (journey commencing on 25.07.2023) & 13156 Sitamarhi-Kolkata Mithilanchal Express (journey commencing on 24.07.2023) and 13166 Sitamarhi-Kolkata Express (journey commencing on 23.07.2023) will be diverted via Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur-Samastipur instead of Sitamarhi-Darbhanga-Samastipur.
(3) 15233 Kolkata-Darbhanga Maithili Express (journey commencing on 24.07.2023) & 15553 Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Express (journey commencing on 23.07.2023 to 25.07.2023) and 17007 Secunderabad-Darbhanga Express (journey commencing on 22.07.2023) will be diverted via Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Darbhanga instead of Samastipur-Darbhanga.
(4) 15234 Darbhanga-Kolkata Maithili Express (journey commencing on 23.07.2023) & 15554 Jaynagar-Bhagalpur Express (journey commencing on 23.07.2023 to 25.07.2023) and 17008 Darbhanga-Secunderabad Express (journey commencing on 25.07.2023) will be diverted via Darbhanga-Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur-Samastipur instead of Darbhanga-Samastipur.
(5) 17006 Raxaul-Hyderabad Weekly Express (journey commencing on 23.07.2023) will be diverted via Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur-Samastipur instead of Raxaul-Darbhanga-Samastipur.
SHORT TERMINATION OF TRAINS:
(1) 13031 Howrah-Jaynagar Express & 13185 Sealdah-Jaynagar Ganga Sagar Express (journey commencing on for both 22.07.2023 to 25.07.2023) will be short terminated at Barauni.
(2) 13135 Kolkata-Jaynagar Weekly Express (journey commencing on 22.07.2023) will be short-terminated at Samastipur.
SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAINS:
(1) 13032 Jaynagar-Howrah Express & 13186 Jaynagar-Sealdah Ganga Sagar Express (journey commencing on for both 23.07.2023 to 26.07.2023) will be short originated from Barauni.
(2) 13136 Jaynagar-Kolkata Weekly Express (journey commencing on 23.07.2023) will be short originated from Samastipur.
REGULATION OF TRAINS:
(1) 15553 Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Express (journey commencing on 22.07.2023) will be regulated for 3 hours and (journey commencing on 20.07.2023 to 21.07.2023) will be regulated for 1 hour between Begusarai & Samastipur.
(2) 17005 Hyderabad-Raxaul Weekly Express (JCO 20.07.2023) will be regulated for 3 hours between Dinkar Gram Simaria & Samastipur.
(3) 17007 Secunderabad-Darbhanga Express (JCO 18.07.2023) will be regulated for 1 hour 30 minutes between Barauni & Samastipur.
The inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.
