LOST MOBILE RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER

On 26.08.2023 at about 13:50 hrs., an on-duty RPF staff at the platform of Masterda Surya Sen Metro station found a mobile phone near the sitting chair of the platform. Finding no claimant of this phone and after proper security checking, he deposited it at the Station Master’s office.
Thereafter, the Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the phone to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometimes i.e. at 14:20 hrs, a lady commuter came to the Station Master’s Office and claimed ownership of the phone. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the phone was handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping her to recover the lost phone.
