AIR MARSHAL SP DHARKAR AIR OFFICER COMMANDING-IN-CHIEF EASTERN AIR COMMAND VISITED AIR FORCE STATION TEZPUR
Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command visited Air Force Station Tezpur from 04 Sep to 06 Sep 23. He was received by Air Commodore VJ Singh, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Tezpur. On arrival, the Air Marshal was presented with a Guard of Honour.
The AOC-in-C reviewed the operational preparedness of the base. Commenting on the Agniveer Vayu scheme, the Air Marshal put forward that well-trained Agniveervayu have become an integral part of the Air Force and it is the responsibility of all senior Air Warriors to groom and train them.
While interacting with the personnel of the Station, he urged them to keep pace with technological advancements and stressed the need to enhance their skills, maintain proficiency, and excel in all roles entrusted. He exhorted all Air Warriors to remain physically fit and mentally agile for operational readiness and to be vigilant to meet any security challenge.
