DIVISIONAL RAILWAY MANAGER /SEALDAH CONDUCTED SURPRISE NIGHT INSPECTION AT DIFFERENT STATIONS IN GEDE SECTION
Kolkata, September 10, 2023:
As a part of Eastern Railway’s continuous endeavor to enforce safety, security, and round-the-clock availability of passenger amenities at Railway stations, Shri Deepak Nigam, Divisional Railway Manager / Sealdah conducted a surprise night inspection at Kalyani, Arangghata, and Gede stations and also over Ranaghat –Gede section in the night of 9/10 September 2023.
During the night inspection at Kalyani station which is one of the stations enlisted under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the Divisional Railway Manager / Sealdah inspected the Panel Room, Circulating area, and different items related to safety, security, passenger comfort and reviewed the possibility of further development.
At Aranghata Station, Shri Nigam inspected the Panel Room, Traffic Gate, Safety Gear, and other functional amenities.
At Gede, the Divisional Railway Manager conducted a detailed inspection of the Operating Panel Room, Booking Office, Safety gear & other Passenger amenities available at Gede station and interacted with on-duty staff.
